Sovereign Party Canada was founded on a simple observation: Canadians are not stupid. They know when they are being managed, when promises are designed to be broken, and when language is being used to obscure rather than communicate.
We are not here to offer a softer version of the same politics. We are here to do something genuinely different — to say what we mean, publish our reasoning, and accept the consequences of honesty.
We will tell you things that are unpopular if they are true. We will not promise what we cannot deliver. We will not use language designed to mean different things to different audiences. If a policy has a cost, we will publish it.
The government's job is to protect your rights — not to manage your choices. We oppose surveillance, censorship, and the creeping assumption that citizens need to be guided by officials. You are an adult. We will treat you like one.
Canada should not be in foreign wars. We have no quarrel with the people of any nation. We will maintain our defensive commitments and our alliances. We will not send Canadians to die in other countries' civil conflicts.
Inflation is a tax on savings. It hits the poorest Canadians hardest. We believe in a monetary system that cannot be quietly debased to fund government spending. We support Bitcoin not as a technology fad but as a fiscal discipline.
Less government does not mean no government. It means government that does fewer things, does them well, and stays within its mandate. We will cut bureaucracy. We will not cut the services Canadians depend on.
Every vote we cast in Parliament will be published with our reasoning. Every donation we receive will be disclosed. Every policy will have a costing. Every promise will have a delivery date. We will be held accountable because we will make accountability possible.
We do not fit on the traditional political spectrum. We take positions based on evidence and principle, not tribal allegiance. Some of our positions will be called conservative. Others will be called progressive. We do not care.
We will not tell you what you want to hear. We will not promise to make things easy. Honest politics sometimes means saying that a problem is hard, expensive, or that there is no good solution — only less bad ones.
We accept donations only from Canadian citizens and permanent residents. No corporate money. No union money. No PACs. No dark money. Our donor list is published.
Our candidates are doctors, engineers, veterans, small business owners, and tradespeople. Nobody on our team has spent their career in politics. We think that matters.
